Not sure if it happens in VODs as well. In my case I noticed this on a livestream.

Just go to any livestream and tell anyone to mention you. Or use another account to mention yourself in that livestream.

coz I never see any "mention" in live chat, I think I cannot help.. sorry.

In Edge I only installed this user script, I have no other extension interacting with YouTube.

By default, when you are mentioned, that orange area should appear around your name.

With "YouTube JS Engine Tamer" enabled, somehow your mentioned name disappear. 🤔

OK. I found this feature in Edge. Now fixed. Please update and change GOOD

Note: That @mention is a new feature rolling out to every user.
