There's no such thing as "as usual" in here:

the initial script was not offering toolbar for HTML neither, as per the Info tab:

Common formatting buttons (markdown only)

and see the code of the last GF revision of the initial script

Please keep in mind that I didn't write the script myself:
I put an effort to make this script, written by someone else, much more experienced than me, work in the new GF layout.
My aim is to restore the functionality. That's all.

Test for to see if the Markdown toolbar is showing when i press edit.

That's OK for the Both Forms!
