Sick of having to check Wazeopedia for suffix abbreviations? Same.
This script automatically checks for suffix abbreviations as you edit a segment's street name in the Waze Map Editor. Based on what is entered, it will verify or make suggestions based on Australian mapping standards.

| St for Street | You are using an accepted suffix abbreviation. |
| Use St for Street | We have found a suggested abbreviation, click the message to apply the suggestion. |
| No suggestion found | There is no matching abbreviation for this suffix. |
Please note: This script is designed to make verifying suffixes simple and easy with a single quick glance or click, so it is only looking at the last part of the street name to provide verification and suggestions. This means you need to keep in mind, "Main Road Service Road" will only detect the second "Road" not the first, and "The Avenue" will detect "Avenue" even though mapping standards say not to abbreviate it.
