Pretty clever. Disguise a script that helps people but in reality it adds your Affiliate id, your code is completely visible which is a downside to your master plan but that doesn't seem to matter at 2,828 total installs I guess you've made a nice amount of money scamming people.

Why is it worth complaining about this? It's as easy as editing the script instead of install, disable auto-updates, select the last function, Ctrl + / to comment it out, and it's gone. Not best practice to auto-add affiliate link, but at least it's open source (unlike the website you're shopping on), and includes a disclaimer. I hardly call that a scam... it's 100% up to the user, in cleartext
