Blocking tag IDs

Is it possible to use tag IDs to block works instead of having to add all variations of a tag?

No, but it should be. I'll try to add it.

That was premature...sorry, I don't think it can be done in a non-horrible way. I thought the tag ids might have appeared in the URLs of each tag link, but that's not so.

I'd suggest trying to use the wildcard feature instead. Or you could check out my "saved filters" script which basically just persists your search input - you can use tag ids there.
