Revert to Google's 2013-2015 Favicon 2.0
This JavaScript is for creating a Greasemonkey script for the Firefox browser. On about 01 Sept 2015, Google changed their Favicon.
A "Revert Google's Favicon 1.0" Greasemonkey Script was created by "Anonymous", but it had errors in the "Includes" URLs (it didn't work on "books.google.com", for example). I've corrected that, and offer the following code to create a new Greasemonkey script that has been tested, and works for all Google domains tried (as it should, taking into consideration my globally generic "Includes"). << Enjoy! >>
Once this script is installed (or enabled after being disabled), already-open Google webpages need Refresh (F5), for new Favicon script implementation. Google Favicons for the "URL Bar/Address Bar/Location Bar", "Web Browser Tabs", and "Bookmarks" (both "Bookmarks Menu" & "Bookmarks Toolbar") will ALL revert back to the Google icon used before the 01 Sept 2015 change (a white lower-case "g" in a blue square).
Include URLs should have "*" before and after ".google.", so the script works globally on Google sites, i.e. with "books.google.com", "www.google.com", "myaccount.google.com", etc (*anything.google.*anything), including, of course, both http:// and https://.
