Not sure if you maintain this anymore, but just wanted to chime in.
Within the past month Chrome has finally killed all flags, tricks, and workarounds for continued MV2 support, ultimately killing all MV2 extensions. This forced me to switch from ViolentMonkey to TamperMonkey for MV3.

The script will load into TamperMonkey, and generate the Qomplete button, but it will not work when you click it.

It will redirect to:
chrome-extension://dhdgffkkebhmkfjojejmpbldmpobfkfo/#Qomplete=1¢er=0&bgcol=0&edge=0&width=0&fontsz=0
And say:
Your file couldn’t be accessed
It may have been moved, edited, or deleted.
ERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND

I know that "chrome-extension://dhdgffkkebhmkfjojejmpbldmpobfkfo" is the URL for TamperMonkey itself. It seems instead of adding the Qomplete path to the fanfiction.net story URL, it adds it to the TamperMonkey extension URL. I assume this has something to do with how MV3 extensions run custom user scripts. You do have to go into Chrome Extensions and turn on Developer Mode for Chrome itself and then "Allow User Scripts" for TamperMonkey to run. I suspect that somehow, the way it allows the custom script to inject, sort of hijacks whatever Qomplete does and appends it to the extension URL rather than the original document URL.

Not sure if this is something that can be fixed, or if you even maintain this anymore. I tried to peruse the code but don't understand JS enough. Either way, just wanted to post this here in case you did check in.

Thanks again for a great script! I used it nearly every day for almost 7+ years and loved it.

Tried with OrangeMonkey as well, which is supposedly an MV3 fork of ViolentMonkey. It also loads the Qomplete button, but does nothing at all when you click it.
