How to Use Media Link Extractor (Tampermonkey Script)
This script helps you download videos and images by extracting the links and using jdownloader from websites like Cyberdrop.me, Files.fm, and Koofr.net, and displays them in an easy-to-copy format. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you get started:
Step 1: Install the Tampermonkey Script
- Install Tampermonkey from your browser's extension store if you haven’t already.
- After installing Tampermonkey, click on the link for the Media Link Extractor script on GreasyFork.
- Click Install on the GreasyFork page to add the script to your Tampermonkey extension.
Step 2: Navigate to the Website
Go to one of the supported websites, such as:
Once you're on the site, the script will automatically recognize it and allow you to extract media links.
Step 3: Extract Media Links
Click the "Extract Media Links" button that will appear in the top-right corner of the page. The script will gather all available media links from the page.
Step 4: Using the UI for Copying Links
After clicking the "Extract Media Links" button, a pop-up window will appear with the list of extracted media links. You can:
- Copy All Links: Click the "Copy to Clipboard" button to copy all the media links.
- Close the Window: Click "Close" to dismiss the pop-up.
Step 5: Download the Links
Using JDownloader (recommended for batch downloading):
- Copy the list of media links (after clicking "Copy to Clipboard").
- Open JDownloader (download it from jdownloader.org if you don't have it installed).
- Paste the links into JDownloader’s LinkGrabber tab, and JDownloader will automatically grab and prepare them for downloading.
Using Developer Tools (for some websites):
If the media links do not extract properly, or the script doesn't display all links, you may need to open the Developer Tools in your browser.
- To open Developer Tools, right-click on the page, then select "Inspect" or press F12.
- Click the "Extract Media Links" button while the Developer Tools is open then close after you've copied links.
Step 6: Consolidating the Downloaded Files
After downloading the media links using JDownloader, you will need to consolidate the files into a new folder. Follow the steps below:
Instructions:
- Copy all the downloaded files into a folder you created.
- Download the .bat file that will help you consolidate the files.
- Open the .bat file and follow the instructions.
Important Notes:
- JDownloader is recommended for most users, as it will handle multiple downloads at once, saving you time and effort.
- You will need Developer Tools open only in rare cases, such as if media links are incorrect.
- This script currently works best with supported websites. If a site is not supported, the media extraction might not work as expected.
