This script allows you to send Steam gifts to your friends even if they already own the game.
This is useful for transferring untradable gift copies to people you trust — for tradable copies, the trading system can simply be used instead.
Friends that own the game you're trying to gift will still appear grayed out, but they can be selected with this script installed.
