Note, March 2021: AO3 changed how it displays kudos, so currently the userscript may not be able to find your kudos if it's further down the list of kudos. However, it should still remember when you click the kudos button in the same browser. Make sure your browser doesn't clear local storage/cookies/cache automatically.

The script remembers kudos you left. It can also check for your kudos in the background while you browse works lists (if you enable the setting).

To mark a work as seen, use the "Seen ✓"/"Unseen ✗" buttons. (Disclaimer: "Unseen ✗" button doesn't make your brain unsee the thing.) The "Seen works" dropdown menu appears wherever there's a list of works or bookmarks.

Remembers when you bookmark a work. You can page through your bookmarks list once to make it remember the works you bookmarked previously.

If you're logged out the first time you visit AO3 after installing the script, it will ask for your username.

Much ado about buttons:

Seen ✓ — click to mark the work as seen
Unseen ✗ — click to remove the work from your seen list
Settings and import/export — change settings, export your current lists for backup or import a saved one
For all works on this page:
- Mark as seen — mark all works on the page as seen (tip: your bookmarks or history)
- Unmark as seen — remove all works on the page from your seen list
- Re-check for kudos — re-check all works on the page for kudos (tip: your history after you kudosed things in a different browser/on mobile)
- Check for bookmarks — check all works on the page for bookmarks you left

2.3 (2025-05-29)
- Checking the works for kudos in the background while browsing works lists is now disabled by default. It looks like it can do more harm than good these days - it may cause too many requests to AO3 if you browse too quickly, and it's not very reliable since AO3 started paginating kudos (so the script may not find yours if it's further down the list). If you need it, you can turn it back on in settings, or use \"Re-check for kudos\" on the current page.
- More options for the export. You can pick which lists you want to export.

- Separate settings for kudosed and seen works. Now you can hide/collapse one but not the other if you want.
- Smaller icons on a collapsed blurb. Saving us some screen space.
2.0 (2020-07-12)
A big rewrite and some new stuff! But don't worry, if you don't like the new things, you can turn them off.
- Skipped works. For when you just don't want to see the thing on lists anymore. Can become a placeholder, a collapsed blurb, or just disappear.
- Mark as seen or skipped without opening the work. Hover over a blurb to see the options on top right. Or you can show them always. Or never.
- Highlighting new blurbs. Blurbs you're seeing for the first time get a thin red stripe. I know this can get annoying, so you can turn it off.
- Expand collapsed blurbs. If you find yourself wondering what's in a collapsed blurb, or just like toggling things back and forth, click on the title bar to expand it without changing the setting for all blurbs. Click there again to collapse it back.
- New way to change the settings. Go for "Settings and import/export" in the menu.
1.5 (2015-08-12)
- Import/export your seen list. A whole new world of possibilities available from the menu! Save your list just in case your browser derps. Or take it with you to a different browser. Or just cuddle it gently at night.

- Thinner stripes on the highlighted blurbs. You're not crazy, they changed a bit.
- Remembers when you bookmark a work. Page through your bookmarks list once to make it remember the works you bookmarked previously (shhh just do it). You can turn off the highlighting in the menu.
