ChatGPT — UltraWide Pro enhances the ChatGPT web interface by removing fixed layout constraints
and expanding the interface to the full width of the user’s display.
It is designed for users working with large monitors, ultra-wide screens, or full-screen layouts who prefer
a more flexible and spacious view.

What the script does

  • Removes ChatGPT’s default max-width layout containers
  • Expands all main UI elements to full viewport width
  • Adjusts messages, code blocks, media, and markdown to scale responsively
  • Keeps the input composer and text content correctly left-aligned
  • Maintains layout stability during SPA navigation and dynamic UI updates
  • Continuously repairs layout changes when ChatGPT reloads or modifies DOM elements

How it works

The script applies a persistent set of CSS rules and uses:

  • MutationObserver to monitor and repair DOM changes
  • requestAnimationFrame for continuous layout reinforcement
  • Hooks into pushState and replaceState to stay active in ChatGPT’s SPA environment
