How to use

  1. Select text on any webpage.
  2. The popup appears near your cursor — click a site icon to search.
  3. A new tab opens (or an existing one is reused, if enabled).

Configuration

  • Open settings via the gear icon (⚙️) in the popup or your userscript manager menu (“Stylish Search: Settings”).
  • Enable/disable sites, add custom sites, edit/delete existing ones.
  • Toggle “Reuse existing tab,” “Show Copy button,” and “Auto-copy selected text.”
  • Import or export your full configuration (JSON).

Installation

  1. Install a userscript manager (Tampermonkey, Violentmonkey, or Greasemonkey).
  2. Click “Install this script” on this page. It will work on all websites.

Compatibility and privacy

  • Works in Chrome, Edge, Firefox (via Tampermonkey/Violentmonkey/Greasemonkey).
  • No tracking. Settings are stored locally. Clipboard is only used when you copy or enable auto-copy.
  • Opens search results in new/reused tabs as configured.
