ChatFold

A Tampermonkey userscript that enhances the ChatGPT web interface. It adds collapse/expand buttons to each message and provides a top toolbar/mini floating panel for bulk collapsing and auto-collapsing based on message length. The tool supports multi-language switching (Chinese/English) and adapts to dark mode.

  • Per-message collapse/expand: Button on the top-right of each message
  • Bulk controls: Collapse assistant messages, collapse user messages, collapse all, expand all
  • Auto-collapse by length: Set a character threshold to fold long messages with one click
  • Preview summary: Collapsed view keeps role + snippet preview
  • Multi-language: Chinese/English switch with preference memory
  • Dark mode support: UI auto-adjusts to dark/light themes
