🪄 NoShorts YouTube UI Enhancer | Remove Shorts from Feed & Customize Layout

A modified version of Michaelsoft's "YouTube UI Enhancer". Enhances YouTube by showing full video titles on hover, removing ad overlays, and adding quick-access "Not Interested" icons, with all features configurable from a settings menu. All credit for the original script goes to Michaelsoft.

This script is a modification of the original "YouTube UI Enhancer" script by Michaelsoft.

Browser Compatibility

  • ✅ Recommended: Firefox with the Violentmonkey extension.
  • ⚠️ Chrome: This script is developed for Firefox and is not tested on Chrome. It may work, but some features might not function correctly.

Features

  • 🚫 Hide Shorts Section: Toggled on by default for a cleaner feed.
  • ↔️ Customizable Grid: Adjust the number of videos and Shorts per row.
  • ✨ Full-Width Layout: Removes side margins to use all available space.
  • 📜 Full Titles on Hover: See the complete title for truncated video names.
  • ⚡ Quick Feed Management Icons: "Not Interested" & "Don't Recommend" buttons appear on hover.
  • 🛡️ Ad Overlay Blocker: Hides the ANNOYING AND USELESS "Paid Promotion" banner on thumbnails.
  • 🔄 Feed Refresh Button: A floating ⟳ button to instantly refresh your feed.
  • 🪄 Floating Settings UI: A simple 🪄 button to open settings (Alt+Shift+U to toggle).
  • 💾 Saved Preferences: Your settings are saved and persist through updates.
