This userscript enables you to quickly download images from Facebook by simply pressing the ` key. It features an advanced user interface that includes:
Install a Userscript Manager:
Install the Script:
Click the “Install” button on this page or copy the code below into a new userscript in your manager.
Usage:
Navigate to Facebook and press the </code> key to download the focused image. The script will automatically determine the correct file format and save the image with a sequential filename (e.g.,1.jpg,2.png`, etc.).
Usage Instructions
Downloading an Image:
Press the ` key while on a Facebook page. The script detects the focused image, fetches it with proper MIME type detection, and downloads it with a sequential filename.
Resetting the Download Counter:
Use the floating control panel’s Reset Counter button or the script’s menu command to manually reset the counter. (The counter also resets automatically every 20 minutes.)
Notifications & Overlays:
Progress overlays and on-screen notifications will provide feedback during the download process, including error messages if something goes wrong.
