Pans, zooms, rotations and crops are performed via mouse input whilst holding down their keybinds. Input effects are as follows:

CropCrop every sideClicking a handle will quick crop. Clicking elsewhere will pan and zoom to the cropped vid.Dragging a handle will crop. Dragging elsewhere will move the uncropped window.Right clicking a handle will reset its crop. Right clicking elsewhere will reset all crop.


Interfaces

Pan/zoom and rotate use a crosshair interface. The pan/zoom interface displays zoom level followed by coordinates. When rotating, the video's current angle is shown alongside the angle that will be snapped to on click.

The crop interface provides handles to be dragged from the edges of the video towards the center. If a side is uncropped, its handle will be transparent and will stick out from the video's edge.

Interfaces, behaviour and controls are all configurable.

Miscellaneous

  • The script only has an effect whilst on a video page (URL is youtube.com/watch?v=...).
  • Tested on Chrome, Edge & Firefox; seems to work everywhere but lmk if not.
  • When in fullscreen mode, browsers obstruct the very top of the screen. This might prevent dragging the top crop handle sometimes. Increasing handle size in the config menu may help.
  • The script replaces the glow that YouTube applies around videos. Bring it back via the config menu.
  • The script's config menu is extensive. Click on the box above "Controls" to navigate it like a file system rather than a huge list. If needed, I can set up help pages or videos to show what everything does.
