Unlocks rewind for YouTube live streams with disabled DVR and longer than 12 hours
< 脚本 YTBetter - Enable Rewind/DVR 的反馈
Hi there! Please try again now. Maybe the new code will help, as suggested by another user.
Thank you so much, it's working again! 🙏
I don't want to be greedy, but I have one more question.
I use SmartTube Beta on my TV, and it allows to rewind a stream 24 hours, so 24h stream-data is available and accessible on YouTube.
Does SmartTube do something fundamentally different, or would it be possible to achieve the same with YTBetter?
Hello, Cereus!
Thanks to your information I unlocked rewinding past 12 hours using this script. Functionality added in version 3.0
In my tests I could seek up to 7 days so I set the max value to 168 hours.
Tested and working on some 24/7 streams found here: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=24%2F7&sp=EgJAAQ%253D%253D
I also added a duration check so that it doesn't affect streams shorter than 12 hours.
Plus did some small refactoring. Now the script will try to disable server-side ads even on streams that have DVR enabled.
What line would I change in the script if I want it to revert back to the 12 hour rewind?

Disregard... I figured it out
Great, 7 days are more than I dreamt of, thank you so much!
Thank you for this great Script! Unfortunately it seems to have stopped working again after the recent YouTube Design (player) change.
