Auto Refresh Interface for HotSauce - Guide

Installation Instructions

To Install the Script:

Follow these steps to install the Auto Refresh Interface script:

  1. Enable Developer Mode in Extensions

    • Open your browser's Extensions page.
      • In Chrome: Go to chrome://extensions.
      • In Edge: Go to edge://extensions.
    • Toggle on Developer Mode (this is required to install scripts manually).

  2. Install TamperMonkey
    If you haven't already, install the TamperMonkey extension from the Chrome Web Store or the Edge Add-ons Store.

  3. Download the Script

    • Visit gf.qytechs.cn and search for "Hot Sauce" or "Hot SOS".
    • Install the first or only script you see: "Auto Refresh Interface for HotSauce".

  4. Install in TamperMonkey
    The script will automatically open in TamperMonkey. Click "Install" to add the script.

    • If a banner appears asking you to install a userscript tool first, simply close it and try installing again.

  5. Completion
    Once installed, you should be redirected back to the homepage of the HotSOS extension on GreasyFork.
    You're all set! Now follow the usage instructions below to activate the script.

Usage Instructions

How to Activate the Auto-Refresh Interface:

If You're Logged Into HotSOS:

  1. Go to the Service Orders page.
  2. Reload the tab to activate the script.

If You're Not Logged Into HotSOS:

  1. Log into HotSOS.
  2. Navigate to the Service Orders page and reload the tab.

How to Check the Script in TamperMonkey:

  1. Click on the TamperMonkey extension icon in your browser toolbar.
  2. Select Dashboard from the TamperMonkey dropdown.
  3. You should see a script titled "Auto Refresh for HotSauce" in the list.
    • Ensure the script is enabled (the toggle should be green).

If the script isn't enabled, click the toggle to turn it on. You can also delete any other scripts you don’t need.

Troubleshooting

If the Script Isn't Working:

This should not happen if everything is set up as outlined above. However, if you encounter any issues, here’s what to check:

  1. Is TamperMonkey enabled?
    Click the TamperMonkey icon → Enable. The icon should show a green checkmark when it’s active.

  2. Is the script toggled on in TamperMonkey?
    Ensure that "Auto Refresh for HotSauce" is toggled on in the dashboard.

  3. Are other scripts running alongside it?
    Disable any conflicting scripts that might interfere with the Auto Refresh functionality.

  4. Is Developer Mode enabled in Extensions?
    Check that Developer Mode is on in your browser’s extension settings (see step 1 under Installation Instructions).

Features

Functionalities of Auto-Refresh:

DEF (Default Interval)

  • Clicking the DEF button sets the interval to 30 seconds by default.

SET

  • Clicking SET will apply the value from the interval box.
    • If the box is empty, it will default to 30 seconds.
    • The interval can range from 5 seconds to 3600 seconds.

Enable Auto-Refresh

  • The script is enabled by default, so auto-refresh will start automatically once the page is loaded.
    • This is the core functionality of the script!

Presets

  • The Presets section provides quick interval options for convenience.
    • If you would like to add or change presets, let me know!

Convenience Features:

  • Draggable Auto-Refresh Window:
    You can drag the auto-refresh window anywhere on the screen for your convenience.

  • Minimize/Expand:
    Use the + and - buttons at the top-right to minimize or expand the auto-refresh window.

  • Persistence Across Reloads:
    When you reload the tab or get logged out, the position of the auto-refresh window and your chosen interval are saved.

  • Last Check Status:
    This visual cue shows the last time the page was refreshed (either manually or via auto-refresh). It updates every time the page refreshes.
