Hmm, thanks for the suggestion, but I personally don't think it would be a good addition. In my point of view, it's much easier to take an overview of all frames at once than to precisely move the mouse inside a small space, and for long videos it would be even harder as there would be too many frames to show. Let alone the challenge it would be to implement this.
