It makes your youtube video volume output at it's maximum as long as you have 100% on.

This script overwrites the default volume set (0.48) to 1. It's not the same as making your Video at 100% in your graphical interface, it makes the video output the maximal sound. (In most cases, if the video isn't at its maximum output in sound)
Youtube has made it that the videos uploaded in youtube don't output the maximum sound, they limit the sound to 0.48, even if you make a video at 100%, it isn't at it loudest. This script allows you to change the default value of 0.48 to 1 with just one click. This way you have an maximum output in sound. (with the script though the default value is set to 1 as long as you didn't use the video-slider)
If you want to be sure though if the volume is really set to 1, just search near the volume-panel on the left side for the number 1, click it and you can see that it sets itself to 0.49, just press it again and you'll get the volume to 1 again. You can also see the difference this way on the output of sound
