On hover, each thumbnail cycles though its 3 thumbnails. Additional feature to view those 3 thumbnails all at once (non-animated)

Unfortunately, I don't think it's possible. I can only find 3 thumbnails for each video (the three you're able to choose from when you upload a video).
Would it be feasible / useful to use the "storyboard" for the video (i.e. the previews that appear on hovering the time bar)?
They are stored as images with URLs of type https://i.ytimg.com/sb/ZgsByqwaC5k/storyboard3_L2/M0.jpg?sigh=EUjHfyoDHVRU00nhvPAvUh-QIJY and there is another script ( https://gf.qytechs.cn/fr/scripts/10848-youtube-thumbnails-full-video-thumbnails-for-youtube ) that shows these on the video page.
The YouTube Center addon had this feature, but it has not been updated for ages and no longer works.

How increase to 4, 5 or 6 animated images? It is possible?
