IMDb to OpenSubtitles & Superbits

This script makes finding subtitles for movies and TV shows significantly faster. It integrates convenient search buttons directly into IMDb pages and automates the filling of Superbits release requests.

✨ Key Features

Quick Search Button: Adds a styled "Search" button to IMDb movie and series pages right next to the main title (and release year). A single left click opens the OpenSubtitles search.
Automatic Redirect: If you perform an IMDb search (/find) and there is exactly one result, the script automatically redirects you to OpenSubtitles after a 3-second delay.
Advanced Language Menu: A graphical user interface for language management. You can select the OpenSubtitles site language and check multiple desired subtitle languages at once (e.g., English and Finnish) to use as a search filter. This menu can be opened via the extension manager or by right clicking the Search button on the page.
Superbits Integration (Optional): Because Superbits is a private tracker, its functionality is disabled by default. You can enable it from the settings menu. Once enabled, clicking the Search button or triggering the auto-redirect will simultaneously open the Superbits request page in a background tab and automatically fill the IMDb link into the "Add Request" form.

⚙️ Instructions & Settings

The script settings can be easily modified directly from the browser on any IMDb title page. There are two ways to open the settings menu:

Method 1: Right click the yellow "Search" button next to the movie title.
Method 2: Click your browser's Tampermonkey or Violentmonkey extension icon, and select ⚙️ OpenSubtitles: language settings from the menu.

A dark-themed settings window will appear:

Left (Site Language): Select the language you want the OpenSubtitles interface to be displayed in (e.g., en or fi).
Right (Subtitle Languages): You can check multiple subtitle languages to use as a search filter (languages are listed in alphabetical order). You can also search for specific languages using the search bar above the list.
Bottom (Superbits): Check the box to enable background routing and autofill for the Superbits tracker.

Click Save to apply your selections. All buttons and redirects will use your saved language preferences immediately without requiring a page reload.
