Have you noticed that after scrolling through Instagram Reels for 20-30 minutes, your browser (Brave, Chrome, Edge) starts to lag, and memory usage spikes to 4GB, 5GB, or even more?
This happens because Instagram fails to properly unload videos you've already watched. They stay in the background, clogging up your system memory (RAM) and causing memory leaks.
This lightweight script automatically cleans up the mess.
It monitors your scrolling and aggressively removes video sources (src) of Reels that have scrolled off-screen. This forces the browser's Garbage Collector to free up the RAM immediately.
/reels/ section. It won't affect your main feed or stories.Because the script removes the video files of watched Reels to save memory, if you scroll back UP, the old videos will not play (you might see a black screen or a loading error). This is intentional. To watch them again, simply refresh the page.

Nie psuje zwykłej tablicy ani Stories.Ponieważ skrypt fizycznie usuwa stare filmy z pamięci, jeśli przewiniesz szybko w górę do obejrzanych wcześniej rolek, nie odtworzą się one ponownie (zobaczysz czarny ekran). Jest to celowe działanie dla oszczędności zasobów. Aby obejrzeć je ponownie, wystarczy odświeżyć stronę (F5).
