YouTube Speed Control

A userscript that allows you to speed up YouTube videos by holding the right arrow key.

Features

  • Quick press right arrow: Triggers YouTube's default 5-second forward
  • Hold right arrow for 0.2s: Speeds up video to 2.5x
  • Release key: Restores normal speed
  • Visual indicator shows when speed-up is active

Installation

  1. Install Tampermonkey or other userscript manager
  2. Click here to install the script

Usage

  1. Visit any YouTube video page
  2. Hold the right arrow key for 0.2s to speed up
  3. Release the key to restore normal speed
