Are you a grown-up reader tired of immersion-breaking censorship in the novels you're reading on wtr-lab.com? Words like b*stard, f**k, or sh*t can disrupt the flow and tone of a story. This script is designed to fix that.

WTR Lab Uncensor automatically finds these censored words and replaces them with their proper, uncensored versions, allowing for a smoother and more authentic reading experience for mature audiences.

  • 🛡️ Preserves Site Functionality (Popover Fix): The script has been rewritten to be non-destructive. It no longer interferes with the website's original JavaScript, fixing a major bug where term-definition popovers would not appear.
  • 🔄 Dynamic Content Support: It correctly handles chapters that are loaded dynamically (e.g., when you click "Next Chapter" without a full page refresh), ensuring the uncensoring works on every chapter you read.
  • ⚙️ Configurable Logging: For debugging or contributing, console logging can be easily toggled on or off from the Tampermonkey menu, keeping your console clean during normal use.

How It Works

The script waits for the chapter content to load. It then safely walks through the chapter's content tree, replacing censored words only within the text itself. This surgical approach leaves all HTML elements and their functionality (like popovers) completely untouched, ensuring maximum compatibility and a bug-free experience.

How to Use

  1. First, you need a userscript manager like Tampermonkey (Recommended), Greasemonkey, or Violentmonkey.
  2. Click the green "Install this script" button at the top of this page and confirm the installation.
  3. That's it! Navigate to any novel chapter on wtr-lab.com. The script will run automatically.
  4. (Optional) To enable or disable console logging for debugging, click the Tampermonkey icon in your browser, find "WTR Lab Uncensor", and select "Toggle Logging".
