Aren't you gonna implement ChatGPT 5?

They removed the ability to change models in the code. This script is in the history.

With the current script, it is still working with small quirks:
o4-mini → o4-mini
gpt-3.5 → gpt-3.5
4o-mini → GPT-5-mini
4.1-mini → model not found
gpt-4o → gpt-4o
default → GPT-5

So, what do you mean by saying they removed the ability?

Do you happen to be a plus/pro user? Users on free plan lost the options to change models, with or without the script

I've hit limit on 3.5 and GPT-5

Well that value is inaccurate. Based on your screenshot, the most the script can do is switching between GPT-5 and GPT-5-Mini, which is still GPT-5😅

At least 3.5, o4-mini, and gpt-4o are better fallbacks than GPT-5-Mini for me

Not sure what you meant. 3.5, o4-mini, gpt-4o were all redirected to GPT-5 models as shown in your screenshot

Look at the black tooltip; it shows you the model being used. The answers are just... well

That black tooltip is kinda misleading 😂 Notice how even if you pick o4-mini, it still won't think at all. The answers on the other hand are derived from the training data/system prompts (unless OpenAI specifically re-trained gpt-4o to make it identify itself as gpt-5), thus making it more accurate

apparently now it's only useful for using GPT-5 Mini, which is still useful if you don't want to use GPT-5 (not run out of the 10 per 5 hours and save em for when you need it)
